I’ve done plenty of editing. I don’t post the projects I’ve edited on my site mainly because I can’t control how it ends up looking. Consider my position: An author looks for an editor, finds one with a list of projects and decides to check them out. The author clicks the link on Amazon and looks inside.
Formatting is a hot mess.
It doesn’t matter how good the editing is if an editor-seeking author is immediately turned off by the look of the final product. It’s an unfortunate reality that client ebooks reflect upon me, even when it’s something outside of my control. It was the major consideration when deciding not to publicize my clients. I couldn’t put one author on my website and not another. There are some choice words for how that looks, none of them flattering.
I finally have a solution. I took the time to learn some newfangled stuff. That’s why I’ve been a bit MIA on the blog the last few weeks. I know. You were wondering. 😉
I can now format your MS for ebook and POD after editing! Yay!
Any projects I edit and format will be linked on my site. I might add books I’ve only formatted but I won’t add books I’ve only edited. It gets too…complicated.
I’m excited to offer this and I hope we can make beautiful books together for a long time to come!
Check out the services page for info and pricing.
UPDATE: I now have a portfolio page!
