You won’t find a better editor

I nicknamed Cheryl the LSE® (Long-suffering Editrix) early in our project. And she was. She walked me through outlining my series and my first book, helping me to understand where I made mistakes, with patience and kindness that I know I didn’t always deserve. I still don’t know how she did that! When we got to line edits, she was ruthless. I needed that. It made me better. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t agree with a lot of things I hold dear, but that doesn’t matter. She’s intent on helping me express what I want to say clearly. I am privileged to call her not only my editor but my friend. Yes, she’s worth it.
